A bolt is only as good as the nut it is paired with. Chenfeng manufactures hex nuts, nylon insert lock nuts, all-metal prevailing torque nuts, flange nuts, cap nuts, weld nuts and heavy hex structural nuts in sizes from M3 to M64. Threads are tapped to 6H tolerance on automatic tapping machines and gauged with GO/NO-GO thread plug gauges before packing. Lock nuts are torque tested to verify the prevailing torque value required by DIN 985 and DIN 980, so the vibration resistance you specify is the vibration resistance you receive. Carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel, in plain, zinc plated, hot dip galvanized and Dacromet finishes.
Standard hexagon nut with metric coarse thread, tapped to 6H tolerance and thread-gauged batch by batch. Available as a matched set with any bolt we supply.
A nylon collar grips the thread and provides prevailing torque that resists vibration. Reusable several times. The default choice for machinery exposed to shock and vibration.
Entirely metal construction with a deformed top thread, so it survives temperatures that would destroy a nylon insert. Used in exhaust systems, engines and high temperature plant.
Serrated flange replaces a separate washer, speeds up assembly and provides a larger bearing face on thin sheet. Widely used in automotive and appliance lines.
Matched nut for A325 / A490 structural bolts, with the higher proof load and thicker section required by the standard. Supplied as a set with the bolt and hardened washer.
Two wings allow tightening and releasing by hand without tools. Ideal for equipment that is adjusted or dismantled frequently, such as display stands and filters.
Domed cap covers the exposed thread end, giving a finished appearance and protection from injury or corrosion. Common on furniture, railings and consumer products.
Projection welded onto sheet metal to provide a permanent threaded boss. Three or four projections give reliable welds on thin gauge steel without burn-through.
